Kearneysville Project
The proposed data center site is approximately 300 acres in Kearneysville, WV, spanning
both Berkeley and Jefferson Counties. This site shares a property boundary with the Hospice
of the Eastern Panhandle, is less than 3 miles from the VA Medical Center, and is surrounded
by residential communities, including many new home construction projects.
How was this project approved?
The concept plan for this data center surfaced in early March 2025, nearly 8 months after QTS
via IB10 Martinsburg LLC purchased land from F.O. Day Company, a Maryland based asphalt and
paving company. The Berkeley County Planning Commission held a hearing on March 17, 2025
and voted to approve the advancement of the Concept Plan to the Detailed Site Plan stage at that time.
This project has not applied for HB 2014 Certification.
